Ahhhhh....

I've missed my little cyberspace!

It is great to be back. 

I was in Brazil and will share with you all the dreaded "nature pics" I snapped with my Olympus.   

Yes, I know... I'm quite the shutterbug.

So, what pray tell, has been happening to digital media in my absence?  Looks like it went to hell in a handbag.

Ugh. All this rapid, forced convergence is making me queazy. Seems like everyone wants a piece of it.  Oh... the gluttony.

But I could never step away from the table of the delicious rodizio churrascaria that is digital media. I love it I love it I love it...

On my way home from the airport, in a mad wave of nostalgia and longing, I purchased my first cellphone ringtone.  Like a digital tattoo, marking a moment in my life.

That's right. I plunked down my first $1.99 (especially since I never really did put in the effort to figure out how to pirate my mp3s into ringtones and transfer them to my cellphone).   

Now when you ring-up my cellie I get to hear... what else? A 14 second snippet of Corcovado by Jobim.
