Good Job: Animation Intern (NYC)

LovestoryA good digital friend and highly regarded animator in the New York City area is seeking an intern to do some light, digital grunt work.

As this is an internship, you would be trading your work for a wee bit o' fame, your name in lights on the screen.

I've been fortunate enough to know Signe Baumane for a couple years now (I begged her to lend a few animations to a film festival I curated a few years ago...).

Signe is an ascending star and well-respected in animation circles.  Also, she knows everyone and everyone knows her.   Her offer to 'teach a few things' to her intern is sincere and may be life changing for the (p)lucky applicant.

o----> From Signe <--------------oo
I am looking for an intern to help me with my new animated film "Birth" - to scan in drawings, to assemble them in Photoshop and then to open them in Aftereffects.

Some computer skills are required, but not to excess - I promise to teach those 2 -3 animation tricks I know and maybe we can learn together?

The internship can start any time from today - and it could be maybe 5 or more hours a week?

In return I promise free lunch, invitations to free screenings, nice parties and introduction to animation world the way I know it... and YES - a very generous credit !!

If you know anyone who might be interested, please, pass it on !!!

My email: signe69(at)earthlink.net
www.signebaumane.com

I can't wait to hear from you!
Signe
